THE COW WEARS US

In this portrait series, I use the cow as a symbol to explore the contradictions in how we relate to animals through play, consumption, fashion, and power. The mask becomes a lens through which identity and ideology intertwine. The images shift from confronting the politics of carnism and cultural domination to exposing the absurdity and cruelty woven into play and style. These portraits are not just about wearing a cow mask, but about what it means to be one. To question the systems and stories that allow us to consume, disguise, and define ourselves through other beings.
