TEAR STAINS

Tear Stains explores the uneasy relationship between land, life, and growth in a place where heat defines everything and the horizon keeps advancing. Amid development and dust, small herds of cows stand quietly in narrow fields, caught between what once was and what remains. Their stillness mirrors the tension between progress and presence, endurance and neglect. The title refers to the faint streaks that mark their faces, traces that may come from dust, from sun, or perhaps from something more. If we stop long enough to look, we can wonder and recognize what we choose not to see.
