This series developed from my own reflections on the tradition of deer hunting in American culture. It is not meant to confront, but to consider how ideas of nature, masculinity, and identity are learned through gestures that often go unnoticed. The title refers both to the aim through a hunting scope and to the less visible lines that connect generations, values, and beliefs.

As I worked through these images, I found myself thinking about the space between play and power, empathy and inheritance. Line of Sight became a way to navigate those tensions and to question what is carried forward, what is seen, and how meaning is assigned. Rather than offering answers, the work lingers in that threshold, where observation and interpretation begin to shift.
