ONCE UPON A TIME

This series examines the uneasy relationship between animal and human worlds through an ironic, surreal lens. Using absurdity and contradiction, I explore how normalization and visual language shape what we see and what we refuse to see within industrial farming systems. By borrowing cues from domestic life, advertising, and childhood imagery, I aim to create psychological tension that disarms before it unsettles. The work is not about moral directive, but reflection, a mirror held to our cultural contradictions. I invite viewers to look closer, to question comfort, and to confront the familiar illusions that conceal cruelty.
